We are in for several days of sunshine, so we'll get our sight-seeing in this week. We finished up our geo-caches in town today, and took the drive north to see the St. George Light House. Little did we know that the lighthouse is out to sea six miles, but we 'caught a glimpse of it'! We thought it was a beautiful day, until we got downtown and it was so foggy that we had to wait around for the sun to burn off the fog. It was good for geo-caching, though, as we were digging around in stuff to find our cache, but no one could see us to wonder what we were doing! We waited for low tide to walk up to the Battery Point Lighthouse, and it was worth the wait! What a view from up there! We are extending our stay here one more day, so we can go back to the Jedediah Smith Redwoods portion and do some hiking. It won't be a hardship to do that! They are beautiful.
