We have one day left before we head south and inland. We went to Patrick's Point State Park and did some hiking and geo-caching and then we hiked down to Agate Beach, and looked for.....you guess it! Agates! We found a few but we met a couple and they had found a big handful of very large ones! We weren't watching, and a big wave got us.....we were wet up to our knees. We had our hiking boots on, so we'll just wash them in soapy water, rinse them, and hang them to dry! The damage has been done! It's a good thing we have spares. It was fun, and the rains have held off. We have enjoyed our last day near the ocean, and met some very nice people.
We will be traveling, so I may not be posting much, as now it isn't as exciting! We might visit Sequoia National Park when we get close to Fresno, and we are definitely going to Death Valley for four days. We have made our reservations as we travel, to assure us of a place to park, being that we will be running into Thanksgiving Weekend. I will always answer personal e-mails, as we should have internet service. It's our phones that have been spotty. We anticipate being in our park in Apache Junction the first week of December. Our destination tomorrow is Dunnigan, CA and the following day, we will be in Fresno for two nights.
