We had to move from our site today, and we wasted all
morning, waiting for the guy in our next site to leave. He pushed us to the limit of 12:45. Check out time is 1:00. We wanted to get moved before we struck off
to check out the area, so this put us a half of a day behind. We had an enjoyable day anyway, as we went
down to old town and the Historic Port Townsend. There are some gorgeous old homes here. We walked around in the older part of town,
and out on the wharf, and ended up having dinner at The Silver Fin, which was
wonderful. We had a window seat and
could watch everything going on in the harbor.
They weren’t that busy, so she didn’t rush us, and we were all
happy. We have tomorrow yet to scout
around the area, but I think we’ll be ready to leave on Friday.
